Life Skills Education for Adolescents
Our Life Skills Education for Adolescents programme is designed to empower young individuals aged 10-18 with the essential skills needed to navigate the complexities of adolescence. This transformative stage of life is marked by significant cognitive growth, creativity, and the development of independent thinking. However, it also presents challenges such as peer pressure, emotional turmoil, and the quest for personal identity.

Each batch consists of 8-12 learners, divided into sub-groups based on mixed age ranges of 12-16 years and 17-19 years. Our programme focuses on equipping adolescents with the tools to make informed decisions, build resilience, and thrive. We emphasize the development of 10 core life skills as identified by the World Health Organization (WHO) and UNICEF:
-
Self-Awareness
-
Empathy
-
Critical Thinking
-
Creative Thinking
-
Decision Making
-
Problem Solving
-
Interpersonal Relationships
-
Effective Communication
-
Coping with Emotions, and
-
Coping with Stress.
Through a variety of engaging activities such as open group discussions on sensitive health and developmental issues, creative problem-solving tasks, and role-plays, participants will gain valuable insights and practical experience. Our goal is to foster adaptive and positive behavior, enabling adolescents to handle the demands and challenges of everyday life effectively.
Join us in this journey to build psychosocial competence and contribute to the emotional and social well-being of our youth!
